What insurers are licensed to write

Each of the 1,549 entities carries one licence class as recorded by its supervisor, or inferred from its name where the register does not state one (the EIOPA register for EU/EEA undertakings). Composite licences, which allow both life and non-life business, survive mainly in markets that have not yet mandated separation.
